Collaborative public/private partnerships providing intensive day school services within the public school district. These programs are located within the district's alternative schools. Students benefit from district teachers, curriculum and all professional services and SBS provides combinations of case managers, licensed therapists and behavioral interventionists. Case managers provide extensive linkage to parents and community services; therapists provide therapy or adjustment counseling and lead relevant psychoeducation groups and interventionists insure a safe, civil learning environment. Students are stabilized in order to return to the District's regular options for their students.
The Learning Centers meet the needs of students who are typically referred for expensive out-of-district day schools.
